Streetwear Gallery Boutique How To?

Art, Design, Fashion, Internet, Gadgets, Social networking. . . I love all of these items. Over the years I’ve worked in graphic design, retail, promotions and customer service. I also love to travel and collect items like Art, Tees, Toys and Gadgets. With all of this in my life I was considering opening a Boutique / Gallery / Social retail space with a focus on streetwear, streetart and the urban lifestyle. I love Brooklyn’s music and social scene and the boutiques in Japan, LA and NY. I reside in Providence, RI and would like to see similar establishments in my area. That’s the reason I’m writing this post, it’s to reach out to fellow bloggers with similar interest for tips, comments and suggestions on where I should start and if I should start? Start up cost? Suggestions on type of space I should look for?
Where should I look to research further? I’m looking for forums, blogs with tips and tricks of the trade. Any and all help would be great. Thanks in advance.
